With this Plugin you could connect your Tumblr account on your WordPress blog, so you can view the discussion of your Tumber into a post or a page of your WordPress Blog.
The reason for the construction of the Plugin was a user of our Forum, calling for help in linking the Tumblr with his WordPress blog. So rather than get in the process of explaining the complex process of linking, we create the wp-tumblr-embeder doing the same thing, easier and faster.
Tumblr is a microblogging platform that allows users to post text, images, videos, links, quotes and audio to their tumblelog, a short-form blog. Users can follow other users, or choose to make their tumblelog private. The service emphasizes ease of use.
Tumblr emphasis is on customization and ease of use, with a relatively simple sign-up process. There are many forms of content that can be added to the users own tumblelog; the seven general categories for posts include Text, Photo, Quote, Link, Chat, Audio, and Video. Users follow other tumblelogs, much like on Twitter, and their updates appear in one stream on the Dashboard

Wp-tumblr-embeder does not require any special configuration, but if you want you can edit the css that comes with the Plugin and adapt to your needs. You can find the stylesheet under the folder wp-content/plugins/wp-tumblr.

Like another user in this list – my Tumblr blog is password-protected, and I am unclear as to how to configure the plugin so it works with a password-protected Tumblr. Anyone?
Thanks!

Hi,
Trying to use this with 'Social Media Tabs'.
The tumblr feed is coming to the WordPress site – but it is not showing in in the correct place and is just running down the left of my screen a few pixels wide.

Hello all! First off thank you for this sweet pluggin It has really helped me out a ton, but I have a question about it though. Is it possible to load 2 separate tumbler blogs? I have a secondary blog under my primary blog and was wondering if i could load the second one to another page on my menu. Is that possible?

I am having an issue where it is inserting the shortcode into the page 3 times (instead of just one). Can you please post the PHP string to call this from a page template?

Great plugin. It is pulling my tumblr post in to my wordpress site, but it is posting this twice. It has messed up the header of the page. It post 10 tumblr post, then come the header for the page and the same 10 posts. I thought it might be the way the theme works but I switched tumblr themes and got the same bug. Can anybody help me?

Hey, this plugin is awesome and very much what I was looking for, thanks so much.
However, I do have a problem. A photoset I had made on Tumblr is showing up as broken. My site appears to think the set should be on the site’s server as opposed to on Tumblr.
“The requested URL /post/9257268064/photoset_iframe/sonkitty/tumblr_lqccu9ByhP1qjuipe/400 was not found on this server…Server at http://www.animecentral.net...”
My regular photo posts are fine, just this photoset is broken.
Please help. Is there anything I can do to fix that or is that something I’d have to wait to be updated?

Another great feature would be pagination. Is there a way to do that as well? Also, I'd love to make a donation to you for coming up with this wonderful plugin.

Love the plugin. Was wondering if there is a way to do multiple Tumblr feeds. Many of our bloggers like using Tumblr on their iPhone or Android and I would ideally like to have about 7 feeds for each Blogger's landing page.

Thanks a ton, I have installed it on my WP blog… working quiet well except:
1) Not getting dates
2) it sets the page upside down ( anyhting I write before the shortcode ends up at the bottem of the page http://www.sunrisethefilm.com/tumblr/
what can I do to get all that fixed ?
Best Wishes

Downloaded this today and there is a bug in the php-code.
When checking for the style.css file the code uses the path '/wp-tumblr/style.css'
it should be '/wp-tumblr-embeder/style.css' otherwise the style.css will never be used.
Apart from that it seems like a simple and useful plugin.

Hello! Thank you for this plug-in. I am wondering if there is a way to set a divider between Tumblr posts? The account I am wanting to embed is picture-heavy, and it can be hard to tell when one post ends and the next begins. Thanks!

I am wondering the same thing.. I would like to get rid of the number next to each Tumblr post, and insert horizontal dividers between the posts instead. I am not super familiar with working around CSS to do this, any advice in configuring the style-sheet for doing so?

Hey there!
Brilliant plugin. I love it. Two quick questions.
1. Is there a way to eliminate or change the post maximum? I'm only pulling in the ten most recent and I want to show my whole blog (preferably with pages instead of scrolling).
2. Can we change it from an ordered list to an unordered list? Is that as simple as changing the css file from .ol to .ul? (Forgive me for not being that familiar with css.)
That's all I can think of at the moment. Thanks so much for your plugin!
Best wishes,
Kristen

Thanks a lot for plug-in usage. At this time there is no any option for that. But in next version we plan to include them.
Kind regards.

Fair enough. 🙂
Is there any mailing list I can get on to find out when you update it, or should i just rely on the update notices via the plugin?
Thanks very much!
Best wishes,
